In the 1950's and 1970's, a number of innovative designs were introduced, and sunglasses became a hot topic in Europe and the United States.
Some of you may find them in photos and videos from those days.
This vintage series is a reprint of the legendary sunglasses that were loved by artists who were also fashion leaders in the 60's, with Beatles' specifications.
This is a pair of sunglasses with gold-colored frames made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' visit to Japan.
The color is slightly yellowish, reminiscent of those days.
This is a special pair of sunglasses with a slightly austere and luxurious feeling.
The shape, size, and lens color are the same as when the original was manufactured.
Both frame and case are made in Japan.
All frames are serial numbered.
The BG-039A-G is a model of the BG-038A-G (a small square model that was also popular at that time) with flip-up lenses with a characteristic thick eyebrow-like shape.
The flip-up part is not only to change the design, but also to increase the lens area and to cut off the sunshine from above.
When the flip-up is folded, the lens can be carried in its own retro and compact case.
It also comes with a commemorative box for display.
It also comes with a photo card of the Beatles members, a logo eyeglass wipe, and a certificate of authenticity.
Limited release in Japan.
Accessories other than the frame are the same as the silver color BG-039A.
The second, fourth, and fifth images are of the silver frame, but the gold frame has the same specifications.
